Additive Manufacturing Technician

Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for assisting experienced Engineers and Technicians with a variety of day to day recurring tasks. At the professional level, follows defined procedures and processes using various equipment in order to complete tasks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for assisting experienced engineers and technicians with a variety of day to day recurring tasks. Able to work independently with little to no supervision on all job responsibilities.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and responsibilities concurrently.
Lead teams in developing methods, process steps, or procedures which improve productivity and quality. Ability to gather, analyze, interpret data, and make recommendations to resolve problems utilizing business, technical, and manufacturing acumen.
Cross-trained in multiple technologies throughout business area. Ability to train others in specific job function and administrative processes.
Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established HS&E requirements to ensure the protection of employees, the public, and the environment. Takes actions necessary to stop work when an unsafe condition or action is identified. Every employee has the right and responsibility to stop work when unsafe conditions or actions are identified.

YOU MUST HAVE
US Citizenship in order to obtain and maintain US Dept. of Energy "Q"-level security clearance.
High School Diploma or GED
Four-year technical degree
1 or more years' experience in polymer additive manufacturing.
Experience with modeling software such as CAD, Solidworks, ProE
Experience with tooling and fixture design
