We are seeking an Additive Manufacturing Lead for our Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence (AMCoE) in Redmond, WA.
The Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence (AMCoE) is a state of the art facility focused on developing capabilities in additive manufacturing of metallic parts. The AM Lead will be responsible for managing the AMCoE team, for driving the technology development path, and for supporting new business development strategy.
Develop and drive the technology development path for additive manufacturing of metallic parts.
Lead the AMCoE team.
Build technical partnerships within the aerospace industry including OEM's, Triumph Group companies, subject matter experts, academia and regulatory agencies.
Support the AMCoE business development strategy
Develop and oversee AMCoE budget, schedule and resource plan.
Develop strategic partnerships and business relationships with suppliers and customers.
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
Minimum 5 years experience in aerospace design or aerospace manufacturing.
Experience with processes, methods and systems for producing metallic additive manufactured parts for aerospace applications.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
Strong business and leadership skills
Familiarity with manufacturing and processing of metallic parts in an AS9100 environment
Working knowledge of qualification and certification methods for aerospace products used in commercial aviation, military aviation and space applications.
Proficient with MS Office tools (Excel, WORD, MS Power Point, MS Project).
Must be results driven, able to perform in a demanding and changing environment and, maintain a culture of open collaboration with all Team Members
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience managing teams, projects, and a history of achieving goals and meeting customer requirements.
Working knowledge of engineering design software, Solidworks preferred.
Working knowledge of DFM, DTC and GD&T
Experience preparing and delivering technical proposals to aerospace manufacturers
