Validation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) - Provide testing and technical support to OEMs to ensure proper implementation of ADAS applications in North America.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Perform validation testing for various Advanced Driver Assistance Systems including Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Smart Parking Assist, etc.
Develop test plans specific to North American environment (test routes, test cases/scenarios, local regulations)
Document test configurations, results and issues
Make system improvement recommendations based on system limitations and target performance goals
Perform any required sensor calibrations (Radar/Camera)
Support and communicate with core design team for ADAS performance improvement activities
Provide technical support to local North American Customers (OEMs)
Perform benchmarking of ADAS competitor vehicles
Work with Design Engineers to further define specification requirements and resolve issues
Basic knowledge of vehicle dynamics and control systems
Basic software, electronics, vehicle communication knowledge, such as: CAN, OBD II, CAN FD, Ethernet, FlexRay, Etc.
Valid U.S. Driver's license with satisfactory driving record
Engineering Development / Tuning Experience
Customer Experience with OEMs
Hands-on vehicle knowledge
Basic Software programming knowledge
