Job Summary

All teachers are eligible for a Master's stipend of $1,700 and Ph.D. stipend of $3,000. National board certification qualifies teachers for an additional stipend of $1,700. We may accept all years of applicable service towards placement on the salary schedule. Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits at PCS cover the employee and their immediate family at a composite rate. The monthly employee contribution is the same, regardless of spouse and number of dependents. Additional optional benefits such as 403b/457a plans, FSA/HSA, Cancer, Accident, Disability and Life Insurance are also available.

Requirements / Qualifications

A valid California Adaptive Physical Education Specialist credential and an English Learner authorization are required.

Comments and Other Information

Initial contract status will be Temporary. Offer of employment is contingent upon fingerprint clearance. There is a fee required by the Department of Justice, payable by the applicant, to process fingerprint clearance. Evidence that applicant is free from tuberculosis in accordance with Education Code 49406 is required. Post-Offer/Pre-Placement Physical is required as well as proof of immunization for influenza, pertussis and measles. Beginning Teacher Induction Program provided.
