Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle is seeking an experienced, technical product management leader with deep expertise in DevOps for enterprise SaaS products.
You will spearhead the operational specifications and delivery of AI for SaaS on PaaS. You will work closely with Oracle data scientists, product development engineers, cloud operations engineers, product release and product readiness teams, as well as customer-facing product managers, sales, and customer success experts. You should be hands-on and technical, while representing the needs of customers and understanding the market landscape.
Considering that this is an emerging venture within Oracle, successful candidates must be able to:
Define, design and assist in execution of platform, configuration, and data integration strategy
Understand the business advantages and unique requirements that new technologies in big data and machine learning bring
Think creatively about how to deliver AI for SaaS on PaaS
Synthesize new solutions based on industry best practices, customer pain points, and Oracle's existing practices
Appreciate and understand the cloud delivery model and how that drives application delivery and deployment
Work in an environment with a significant number of unknowns both technically and functionally inherent in such a new venture

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment, and candidates should be fully competent in their own area of expertise. Someone in this role will:
Assist in the creation of product strategy and drive product requirements
Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality
Initiate and foster relationships with other groups and partners
Develop product presentations and collateral
Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities
Demonstrate excellent technical problem-solving skills
Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
We are looking for:
BS or MS degree or equivalent experience in computer science or other relevant engineering disciplines
Demonstrated track record of at least 15 years of software engineering, product development or product management in enterprise SaaS software or related experience
Recent experience leading DevOps for an enterprise SaaS company or relevant domain expertise in DevOps with a range of platforms, e.g. AWS, Heroku, Google Cloud, Azure
Understanding of modern containerization strategies
Self-starter, motivated and ambitious. Looking to grow in a fast moving organization. Ability to wear many different hats and work on multiple deliverables in parallel
Great verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills and able to present and document ideas in a concise and articulate manner
Strong analytical skills and problem- solving skills to form a deep understanding of market/customer needs
Ability to build relationships and collaborate successfully outside of authority while leveraging Oracle expertise and resources
Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms a plus
Represent the voice of the customer, the market, and the competition for decisions about deployment and delivery of Oracle's Adaptive Intelligent Apps
Lead a cross-functional team to define and implement best practices for the end-to-end customer experience in purchasing, configuring, using, updating and maintaining Oracle Adaptive Intelligent Apps
Balance the need to work within existing rules and to change processes that do not serve customers well
Productize and scale the technical, operational, and process solutions that will ensure customer success for Oracle Adaptive Intelligent Apps customers
