ConsumerTrack is looking for a highly-collaborative, sharp Ad Ops manager to drive the business forward. The Advertising Operations manager works with internal teams (Client Management, Media, Analytics, Design, Product and Sales) and external groups (Publishers, Agencies, and Clients) to ensure campaign delivery objectives are met. The ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented, process-driven, and a master at follow-up and follow-through. This role manages a team of individual contributors so must be adept at hiring, coaching and developing people.This role sits at the crossroads of supply, demand and data, which will make this role central to the development of innovative ad tech solutions.
Lead, manage, and train Ad Ops team members.
Improve processes by working with the team to adhere to standard procedures and optimize existing processes to improve performance, quality of work and timeliness.
Coach team to think ahead about potential roadblocks to meet campaign performance goals and work with product or other stakeholders to preemptively address issues.
Manage, mentor and train Ad Operations team. This team is responsible for accurate campaign set up and campaign management. Deliver accurate campaign information to internal and external stakeholders.
Analyze active campaigns for standardization and improvement opportunities (CTR, Quality, LTV, etc.).
Become the in-house expert in ad tracking and tagging by facilitating conversations with clients and publishers around tags, pixels and parameters. Educate CTI teams and evangelize best practices for tracking and troubleshooting.
Evaluate the suite of Ad Ops tools, platforms, and services, assess new vendors (paid media and programmatic platforms) and IAB standards to guarantee constant innovation.
Manage Video Operations to increase onsite and offsite video monetization. Work with Video ops manager to constantly evolve the pricing and strategy to increase yield.
5 8+ years' experience in a technical or ad ops role.
5+ years building and managing a team handling high-volume digital campaign operations (Onsite and remote teams), including direct hiring responsibilities.
Extensive hands-on experience with ad serving and data technologies, including knowledge of video and programmatic landscape.
Experience working with various ad serving platforms (DFP, DCM, Sizmek, etc) as well as viewability & verification vendors (IAS, DoubleVerify, etc.).
Expert-level understanding of brand and performance-based digital advertising campaigns (Mobile and desktop; display, video and native).
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple concurrent projects while maintaining a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced business environment.
Excellent business sense, problem solving, project management and analytical skills. Demonstrated written and visual presentation skills.
Knowledge of implementing tracking tools: pixels, ad tags, rich media integrations, query string parameters, etc.
Ability to explain complex and technical issues to varied audiences, both internal and external.
Experience making operational decisions based off of financial analysis. Some experience in Finance is a plus.
Proficient in basic HTML, data structures, and Advanced MS Excel.
RTB/Programmatic experience a plus.
Experience working in Salesforce. Salesforce Admin experience a plus.
