The Ad Ops Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day trafficking of Havas Edge media campaigns. This will require daily interaction with our internal teams such as media planning, account management and analytics, and our external clients and partners to ensure delivery of all advertising campaigns are consistent and accurate.

H/she will work directly within Ad Servers and DSPs to create ads and issue tracking tags as well as lead the QA of campaign trafficking, reporting, and optimization.


  • Traffic and assist with managing ad campaigns for assigned clients in our ad servers DCM and Thunder

  • Review campaign media plans, documents and updates with manager and media team before trafficking to ensure consistent and accurate set-up

  • QA ads to ensure they meet site partner specs and ad server requirements

  • Generate, QA, and troubleshoot implementation of conversion tags

  • Troubleshoot ad or tag issues with site or ad tech partners

  • Work with analytics department to ensure plans will allow them to collect data accurately, efficiently, and effectively

  • Assist with organizing campaign assets to help expedite efficient trafficking

  • Support the department with campaign maintenance and delivery

  • Assist in generating third-party reports, site reports and other basic ad hoc reports as required

  • Create and implement or share site tracking tags form systems such as DoubleClick, Thunder, MediaMath, Google Ads, FB and others

  • Identify and help resolve issues that negatively impact campaigns


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Economics, Statistics, Business, Marketing, or Advertising preferred

  • At least 6 months of media operations or related digital experience strongly desired

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLookup, Conditional formatting)

  • Demonstrated analytical aptitude

  • Self-motivated and high initiative, with the ability to work both independently and in a team setting

  • Desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and open environment

  • High level of attention to detail, organization, and accuracy

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Works well under pressure, while maintaining accuracy and professional demeanor

  • Perceptiveness to filter what elements are key to success

  • Ability to self-learn and independently solve unfamiliar problems

Desired Skills (not required):

  • Performance marketing experience such as SEM, SEO, Display, Affiliate

  • Experience with ad banner impressions trafficking

  • Experience with one or more ad servers, tag management systems or trading platforms (Doubleclick Campaign Manager, Thunder, AppNexus, The Trade Desk, Display and Video 360, Tealium, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager)

  • Ability to read and modify HTML, CSS, XML, and Javascript in an advertising context

  • Experience in troubleshooting ad serving technical issues, such as delivery investigation, third party rich media issues, understanding & debugging 3rd party pixels

  • Working knowledge of 3rd party ad safe/viewability technologies
