Under the direction of the Store Management, the Ad Coordinator is responsible for the execution of Ad (ROP or Flyer), Crazy Deal, and Internet Coupon Program setups, as well as driving sales within each program.

Candidate should be a seasoned associate, capable of executing merchandising directives in supporting the sales floor as needed, demonstrating the appropriate amount of urgency with all deadlines.


  • Work with Store Management and Field Merchandiser for Ad Plan and Product placement.

  • Work with the Receiver and Department Heads to locate Ad merchandise.

  • Perform detailed walks for the Ads (ROP and Flyer), Crazy Deal, and Internet Coupon Program setups each day, addressing signing and/or product issues.

  • Fill in Ad, Crazy Deal and Internet Coupon product based on sales, by partnering with the Management Team, Field Merchandiser, Department Heads, and Receiver. Research any items found to be out of stock, find and display on sales floor.

  • Review office generated daily, weekly and monthly documents and reports. Reports include but are not limited to: Shipping Manifest, Items Not on a Shelf, Ad On-hands using Qlik, Top 40 First Day and Weekend Reports, Top 80 Reports, Ad Signs to take down, and #2 Sign Report.

  • Other duties:

  • Support the Sidewinder Program with the proper placement of the fixtures, filling or changing product as needed.

  • Ensure that the Register Inboards are full with appropriate product.

  • Work with Store Management on the store's overall pricing (labels and tickets) and signing, including powerlane and bulks.

  • Responsible for training a Backup Coordinator.

  • Other duties as needed to support the needs of the store, including, but not limited to stocking, cashiering, customer support.

  • Schedule:

  • Associate will be scheduled for five shifts per week (four day shifts and Wednesday night).

  • Associate will be scheduled off two days: 1) Saturday, and 2) Either Tuesday or Thursday, depending on store needs/truck schedules.

  • Shifts are scheduled for five hours each.

o Schedule is subject to change based upon the needs of the business. The above is the anticipated, not guaranteed schedule



  • Qualified applicant must be able to perform essential duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Qualified applicant must be able to set and operate a ticket gun, cut case merchandise, count money, lift merchandise weighing up to 35 pounds, sign merchandise, display product on shelves and on the sales floor up to 6 feet, and climb up and down ladders.

  • Constant standing, walking, bending, and stooping are required throughout the shift.

  • Qualified applicant also must offer flexibility in scheduling to meet business needs.

Prior retail merchandise display experience with OSJ preferred.

  • Ability to perform job functions with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.

  • Knowledge of merchandise planning and presentation to create dynamic displays.

  • Solid written and verbal communications skills. Basic keyboard skills (Email,Google Docs, Qlik).

  • Must be able to speak and comprehend English

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will utilize social networking sites, job boards; attend job fairs, champion open houses, network, etc to identify potential qualified candidates that meet the needs of hiring departments. There will be a focus on non-clinical positions across the Hartford HealthCare System. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be responsible for building pipelines of talent, maintaining relationships both internally and externally, and developing innovative strategies for attracting candidates. As needed the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will perform various other responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition process including administrative components. Key Areas of Responsibility 1. Partner with hiring managers to build effective sourcing and assessment approaches with an ability to manage expectations. 2. Source, pipeline and recruit passive candidates and gauge both clinical/professional skills and chemistry of candidates for fit, and to understand candidate motivation 3. Partner with Talent Acquisition team to market harder to fill positions (social media, e-mail campaigns, etc.) 4. Screen and identify candidates in Applicant Tracking System (Taleo). 5. Work with Talent Acquisition on optimizing applicant tracking system and existing search tools. Make recommendations for best practices. 6. Organize Open Houses and Schedule Interviews. 7. Assist in onboarding of new employees. 8. Special Projects at the direction of a member of the recruitment team or management as assigned. 9. Resource Intern and Administrative Fellow Programs in collaboration with LOD. 10. Some administrative and clerical duties as assigned. Education Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communication or related field. Experience 1 year of experience working for a search firm or in house Talent Acquisition Team; or related experience within a college internship. Prior experience sourcing candidates via social media and resume databases, cold calling candidates, and conducting Boolean Searches preferred. Experience working with Taleo or other applicant tracking systems strongly preferred. Strong Writing Skills required. Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and proficient in use of personal computer. Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment. Good interpersonal and written communication skills. High energy level, strong sense of urgency, resourceful, resilient and well organized.
