Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Store Management, the Ad Coordinator is responsible for the execution of Ad (ROP or Flyer), Crazy Deal, and Internet Coupon Program setups, as well as driving sales within each program.

Candidate should be a seasoned associate, capable of executing merchandising directives in supporting the sales floor as needed, demonstrating the appropriate amount of urgency with all deadlines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with Store Management and Field Merchandiser for Ad Plan and Product placement.

  • Work with the Receiver and Department Heads to locate Ad merchandise.

  • Perform detailed walks for the Ads (ROP and Flyer), Crazy Deal, and Internet Coupon Program setups each day, addressing signing and/or product issues.

  • Fill in Ad, Crazy Deal and Internet Coupon product based on sales, by partnering with the Management Team, Field Merchandiser, Department Heads, and Receiver. Research any items found to be out of stock, find and display on sales floor.

  • Review office generated daily, weekly and monthly documents and reports. Reports include but are not limited to: Shipping Manifest, Items Not on a Shelf, Ad On-hands using Qlik, Top 40 First Day and Weekend Reports, Top 80 Reports, Ad Signs to take down, and #2 Sign Report.

  • Other duties:

  • Support the Sidewinder Program with the proper placement of the fixtures, filling or changing product as needed.

  • Ensure that the Register Inboards are full with appropriate product.

  • Work with Store Management on the store's overall pricing (labels and tickets) and signing, including powerlane and bulks.

  • Responsible for training a Backup Coordinator.

  • Other duties as needed to support the needs of the store, including, but not limited to stocking, cashiering, customer support.

  • Schedule:

  • Associate will be scheduled for five shifts per week (four day shifts and Wednesday night).

  • Associate will be scheduled off two days: 1) Saturday, and 2) Either Tuesday or Thursday, depending on store needs/truck schedules.

  • Shifts are scheduled for five hours each.

o Schedule is subject to change based upon the needs of the business. The above is the anticipated, not guaranteed schedule

Requirements

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualified applicant must be able to perform essential duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Qualified applicant must be able to set and operate a ticket gun, cut case merchandise, count money, lift merchandise weighing up to 35 pounds, sign merchandise, display product on shelves and on the sales floor up to 6 feet, and climb up and down ladders.

  • Constant standing, walking, bending, and stooping are required throughout the shift.

  • Qualified applicant also must offer flexibility in scheduling to meet business needs.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Prior retail merchandise display experience with OSJ preferred.

  • Work productively while independent and in a team environment.

  • Multi-task with an appropriate level of urgency and tight deadlines.

  • Organizational efficiency with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to perform job functions with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.

  • Knowledge of merchandise planning and presentation to create dynamic displays.

  • Store fixture and equipment knowledge.

  • Solid written and verbal communications skills. Basic keyboard skills (Email,Google Docs, Qlik).

  • Must be able to speak and comprehend English

VIEW JOBS 3/19/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-06-17T00:00 Job Description As the Pharmacy Compliance Coordinator, you will work in an exciting and fast paced corporate environment, supporting investigations and executing reports associated with Controlled Substance/PSE drug loss reporting across CVS' entire fleet of pharmacies (retail and non-retail), in addition to supporting prescription forgery incidents and DEA interactions for CVS' retail pharmacies. In this high impact role, you will routinely interact with members of Compliance, Pharmacy Operations, IS, Legal, Asset Protection, Prescriber Managed Care, Store and Field Leadership to ensure adherence to federal and state laws and regulatory standards. This role requires a highly dynamic and motivated individual with strong attention to detail that can manage short and long term deadlines. Strong analytical skills are required to understand and draw conclusions from aggregate data as well as produce reporting to illustrate and present findings. You must have strong interpersonal communication, verbal and written skills, as the position will require frequent interactions as well as live presentations with internal and external partners. Success will be driven by this person's ability to re-prioritize their work on a daily basis and multi-task continuously while holding themselves to a high degree of accuracy and delivering timely results. In addition, this individual will need to be able to think creatively and be a self-starter to proactively develop and present potential solutions. The Pharmacy Compliance Coordinator is an integral member of the Professional Practice Standards Team, which ensures the level of pharmacy practice exhibited by our pharmacy teams meets or exceeds the standards and expectations set by government regulators, payers, business partners, and most importantly - our patients. Responsibilities include but not limited to: * Execute accurate and timely daily reporting requirements in a complex regulatory environment that includes evaluation and interpretation of requirements across unique business unit needs, federal requirements and unique state requirements. * Partner daily with various pharmacy teams, field leaders and asset protection team to execute both accurate and timely drug loss reporting. * Communicate with external regulatory investigators to obtain required information * Evaluate case information for completeness of investigation and accuracy of detail provided * Interpret case information to recognize if immediate outreach or escalation is required to meet regulatory deadlines * Identify areas of ambiguity in individual reports that require additional legal analysis * Manage timelines of various projects in order to meet required deadlines. * Develop thorough understanding of pharmacy regulations and reporting requirements under the Controlled Substances Act as well as state requirements. * Interpret drug loss trends and draw conclusions from aggregate data, as well as produce reporting/ presentations to illustrate findings. * Comprehend and assess complex processes and workflows to identify vulnerabilities or areas for improvement that impact the professional practice of our pharmacy teams * Influence business partners to deliver best in class results as dictated by state or federal law. * Create and update internal and field training documents as new or updated regulations are identified * Teach drug loss reporting to required CVS colleagues; including creation of written presentations and presenting to a live group The ideal candidate will posses: * Strong organizational skills; ability to multitask while maintaining focus on defined assignments * Minimum of 3+ years using Microsoft Office tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Capability to interpret data and create presentation to illustrate findings * High degree of professionalism, must be able to successfully interact and influence pharmacy teams and members of field leadership Required Qualifications * 3+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician * Must have a National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) * Must also be registered as a Pharmacy Tech II with the State of Rhode Island Department of Health.
