Responsibilities:

The Acute Care Manager of the Occupational Therapy (OT) Department will be responsible and accountable for the overall clinical operations of the OT Dept. and for the growth and development of OT programs as well as the day-to-day management of OT departmental operations.

• Assists with interviews, onboarding, and annual performance reviews/validations in conjunction with the Assistant Director (ADOR) and Director of Rehab Services (DOR).

• Facilitates the advancement of the team's quality of care through in-servicing, mentoring, student programming and coordination of performance improvement projects.

• Responsible for managing all OT operations in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, ethical and professional practices, and regulatory agency guidelines. Responsible for appropriate delegation and OT and support staff.

Experience:

• Current License by the Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy required

• 5 years of Acute Care experience required with 1-year supervisory experience preferred.
