This health system in West Georgia is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Acute Care General Surgeon to join our hospital employed Surgical Group consisting of 6 board certified general surgeons and 4 full-time APPs. Job Duties & Responsibilities Will provide coverage to primarily inpatient & emergency department consults at the Carrollton facility, a 181 bed (and growing) acute care hospital located in Carrollton, GA, and Villa Rica facility, a 53 bed (and growing) acute care hospital located in Villa Rica, GA Receives ED calls, transfers, and referrals from Tanner s critical access hospitals, Higgins General Hospital in Bremen, GA, and Tanner East Alabama in Wedowee, AL. Schedule: Monday Friday; 7a 5p No weeknight call coverage responsibilities, and weekend call coverage obligations will be evenly split with your general surgery physician colleagues.
