Job Description

EPIC's actuarial team delivers innovative analytics aiding our clients in all aspects of risk financing. We are looking for an Actuarial Analyst with stong analytical and communication skills. The Actuarial Analyst will closely with other actuaries and brokers to develop insurance solutions for client while meeting our company sales objectives. This position will be tasked with assisting both health and property/casualty clients and prospects by reviewing, developing, and maintaining actuarial models.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare data for use of actuarial models

  • Developing programs and models using modern data techniques

  • Loss reserving and forecasting for clients and prospects

  • Evaluate pricing of insurance contracts

  • Creating exhibits and analyses for delivery to clients

  • Using third party software to analyze client's exposure to loss

  • Meeting with clients and prospects to sell our technical capabilities

  • Working within a bi-coastal team and maintaining strong communication with all members


  • Degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting or Finance.

  • Proficiency with Excel and statistical software such as R, SAS, and Stata

  • Strong presentation skills

  • 2-8 years of experience

The colleague will share outputs with brokers, and jointly delivers reinsurance actuarial services to clients with senior team members.
