Develops and maintains sophisticated pricing models and actionable strategies
Identifies emerging risks, creates innovative solution and measures the impact.
Analyzes pricing impact for implementation of new limits, programs, product launches and loss mitigation strategies.
Evaluates reserving methodologies and improves accuracy of reserve by utilizing both traditional and new techniques.
Clearly and effectively communicates actuarial results to external audiences including senior company management.
Supports financial planning process by providing key actuarial inputs.
Experience & Skills:
Minimum of ACAS and 5+ years of experience in P&C actuarial field
Experience with pricing and reserving
Personal or commercial auto insurance experience required
Advanced Quantitative degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, or similar
Very Strong Excel; experience with R (or Python) and SQL and an interest in coding/automation preferred
Great communication and presentation skills
Strong organization and time management skills
Balance attention to detail with fast-pace Lyft environment
