Job Summary

This position will provide administrative assistance for Sr. Vice President and other department employees.

Essential Functions

Open, sort and distribute mail

Assist with preparation and production of Actuarial Memorandum

With Sr. VP, prepare annual department budget and track budget monthly

Maintain filing system and directory for SVP

Maintain master policy forms directory

Assist with assigning new and revised form numbers

Prepare new and revised policy forms in MS Word

Assist with state form filing as necessary

Assist with adding approved policy forms to Production environment

Assist Illustration Actuary with annual state filings and other miscellaneous state filings

Prepare regular reports, memos, correspondence, and spreadsheets for SVP and other employees in department

Set up meetings, make travel arrangements and prepare expense reports for SVP

Maintain supplies for the department

Distribute Data printouts

Maintain department records

What you'll do: AEDP members are expected to rapidly attain their Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries (SOA) while making meaningful positive contributions to Cigna's businesses. The program financially supports exam fees, study materials, and allows for paid time off from work so students may prepare for and take exams. Salary increases provided upon the successful completion of each exam will be reflective of a combination of progression towards the Fellowship designation and contributions to the business.
