As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Actuarial Analyst to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a motivated and analytical Actuarial Analyst to support our actuarial team in New York City. The Actuarial Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing data, developing models, and providing insights to support our clients’ risk management and financial planning needs.

Ideal candidates will have the following: Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or a related field. ASA Designation preferred.

Completion of at least four actuarial exams from the Society of Actuaries (SOA)). Minimum of 4 years of experience in an actuarial role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail. Proficiency in actuarial software (e.g., Prophet, AXIS) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning. Responsibilities include: Assist in the development and maintenance of actuarial models to analyze financial risks and forecast future trends.

Conduct detailed data analysis to support pricing, reserving, and risk management activities. Prepare actuarial reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting, finance, and IT, to ensure the accuracy and relevance of actuarial analyses.

Support the development of new products and services by providing actuarial insights and recommendations. Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes, and assess their impact on actuarial practices and company operations. Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of actuarial work.

Contribute to the ongoing professional development of the actuarial team by sharing knowledge and best practices. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, regulatory filings, and other compliance-related documentation. Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior actuarial staff or management.
