Bridgewater at Viera is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of full-time Activities Coordinator. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.

General Purpose:

Responsible for set-up, coordination, and maintenance of all youth camps, special events, and daily programs in the Recreation department. Candidate will be dedicated professional that work directly with the Lifestyle Coordinator and homeowners to execute activities, social events and administrative duties.

Essential Duties:

  • Sets-up, coordinates, and maintains high quality camp programs, monthly special events, themed activities, holiday events.

  • Maintains equipment inventory and notifies manager when orders equipment/supplies are needed for implementation of various programs.

  • Updates department calendar to include all (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) recreation camps, special events, theme nights, and holidays.

  • Properly cares for and maintains program and special event equipment. Keeps storage area neat, clean, and all in safe working order.

  • Reviews guests' comments and event concerns.

  • Maintains files for various events including items such as purchase orders, check requests, expenses, revenues, brochures, promotional material, etc.

  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

  • Regular and reliable attendance.

  • Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

  • Associate's degree (AA); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates/Licenses:

  • CPR and First Aid Certification

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

  • Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
