EF Academy is an international day and boarding high school serving 250 international students from more than 40 countries. EF Academy offers an unrivalled level of personal support and guidance to students at our boarding schools and offices around the world.

We prepare students for success by working with them to discover and develop their strengths and by providing them with an academic environment that will see them thrive. The Activities Coordinator is responsible for the planning, organization, and execution of the Activities program under the supervision of the Director of Activities. This is a high-energy role that requires a strong leader, someone who can drive the program and ensure staff have the tools and guidance to provide life-changing experiences to students.

General Duties:

● Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.

● Act in loco parentis, providing student support and guidance.

● Build and maintain relationships with students, staff, and parents.

● Attend necessary meetings.

● Occasionally drive a van to shuttle students.

● Other duties as assigned by the Director of Activities or Extended Leadership Team.

Essential Duties:

● Plan, organize, and oversee a variety of activities, day trips, social events and multi-day excursions.

● Coordinate the in-school extracurricular clubs program.

● Organize and support all activity related logistics, including transportation, staff scheduling, and troubleshooting.

● Coordinate the planning of major student events, including Prom, Lunar New Year, and Culture Fair, as well as student and staff gatherings throughout the year.

● Manage budget and supplies as needed, as well as inventory.

Job Requirements:

The Activities Coordinator is a residential position and will be required to live on campus and participate in Residential life responsibilities including evening and weekend hall duties. This position will also require availability during holidays that fall within the academic year.

● Bachelor's Degree in Education, Hospitality, Social Work, Psychology, Communications, or related field preferred.

● Experience in residential life preferred.

● Experience with DEIB, cross-cultural communication preferred.

● Ability to work flexible hours.

● Bilingual preferred.

● Proficiency in computer and software applications (management, organizational, and marketing applications preferred).

● Ability to carry loads 25lbs and more.

Start date: August 1st, 2024

Compensation: $38K-$48K/year commensurate with experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with life and disability insurance, 25% company match on your 401K. In addition, room and board will be provided.
