NOTICE OF VACANCY

POSITION: Girls Swimming & Diving Assistant Coach

LOCATION: Southington High School

SALARY: $2,712.00 - $3,652.00 stipend

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

To assist and direct the Girls' Swimming & Diving team under the direction of the Head coach. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, instruction and practice of skills and techniques; sportsmanship and team play; contest preparation with applied knowledge of game concepts and strategies; purchasing, scheduling, supervising and record keeping.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must hold a CT coaching permit; have a current CPR and First Aid card and, have CT Coaching Education Program (CCEP) Module 15-Concussion and, Head Injury education. Candidate should have thorough knowledge of the sport /activity and demonstrate technical and tactical knowledge of the sport.

Ability to motivate high school student athletes. Consideration shall be given to past coaching experience.
