At Sunrise, our Activities Assistant is responsible for assisting with the day to day delivery of resident centered activities and programs for the Sunrise Senior Living Community while meeting and/or exceeding Sunrise quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:
- Assists in maintaining a balanced resident centered activity program for the Sunrise community following the Activity Program Guidelines, Programming Guide(s) and direction from immediate supervisor- Under the leadership of immediate supervisor, assists with and supports the networking actions for retaining a volunteer base, maintaining a relationship with local businesses, organizations and schools- Reviews, reads, notates and initializes the Daily Log and Department Log to document and learn about pertinent information and any resident's physical and behavioral changes as well as activities information- Demonstrates proficiency and understands the QA (Quality Assurance Process) & essential quality service standards pertaining to enriching resident centered activities and programming; partners with community team in striving for excellent quality care & service delivery as measured in the QA process- Partners with community team to ensure community follows all federal, state, local laws & regulations & Sunrise quality standards for resident care and services- Partners with community team to ensure community is in compliance with OSHA requirements and promotion of Risk Management programs and policies; adherence to safety rules and regulations

  • Actively participates as a member of a team and committed to working toward team goals

Qualifications:
- One (1) year job related experience preferred in senior living communities- Ability to lead activities and motivate volunteers and fellow team members for their involvement in the social events and various scheduled social activities- Maintains a current appropriate federal and state license such as CDL (commercial driver's license) and/or chauffeur license, applicable state license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with State, Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Sunrise policy- Ability to handle multiple priorities- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations- Competent in organizational, time management skills- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills- Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in a resident's best interest- Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following community procedures and guidelines and have the ability to follow through on assigned tasks- Demonstration of proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and Sunrise applications with the ability to learn new applications

Essentially run the branch in the absence of the branch manager while out prospecting, calling and producing for the branch. Assist in the development of the branch sales and marketing plan. Assist Manager in meeting or exceeding established deposit goals, which include both business and consumer clients. Understand and model CCB's core values and expert level of customer service to assist our customers in meeting their financial goals ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING * Oversee all operations of the branch to attain internal performance objectives for the branch, including deposits, loan goals and quality of branch audits. * Provide and maintain a professional, business like atmosphere within the branch office. * Effectively coach and model activities to ensure prompt, accurate and dependable customer service. * Participate in sales activities like outside business development, networking, partnering with the lines of business with in the bank on joint or individual sales calling and referrals according to branch objectives. * Deepen and maintain existing customer relationships through a book of business as assigned by management. * Maintain an organized system for tracking and following up on customer needs of an individual book of business and coaching team on a system for tracking their own performance to goals, enhancing a book of business and sales activities. * Support daily operations of the branch to ensure success of the team. * Thorough understanding of and experience in branch banking operations and some experience with business development and success with sales goals. * Takes a leadership role in policy and procedural requirements to ensure operational, regulatory and security compliance. * Represent the bank to the community through excellent customer relations and community involvement. * Participate in activities for generating new business, i.e., sales calls, special promotions etc. * Counsel and coach employees when needed and help identify training needs within team. * Provide assistance in performance evaluation process and recommend ratings and salary adjustments to Manager. * Compliance with all regulatory requirements. * Other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities: * Manages teller staff. * Maintains a productive environment that foster business growth and focus * Monitors staff performance to goals and gives coaching for success to these goals * Provide additional training as needed to staff Requirements QUALIFICATIONS * Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills * Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance * Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously * Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule from. * Thorough knowledge of spreadsheet software, word processing software, and internet use. * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, customers and employees. * Ability and experience coaching, training in a sales environment * Experience working with production goals Other Qualifications Previous banking experience preferred EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE * Degree from four year college or university; or * Two to four years related experience and/or training; or * Equivalent combination of education and training.
