Job Summary:
Provide support to the community and assist Director of Hospitality. Assist with other business office functions while meeting, or exceeding, LCS hospitality and service standards.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Administration
Provides office and clerical support, which meets, or exceeds, LCS Hospitality and service standards in particular direct responsibility for input of all IL F&B invoices onto the IL F&B Checkbook using the proper GL Codes and submitting invoices to Accounting for input to AP EXPRESS.
Prepares F&B C7's including residents and in-house; distribute reports as required.
Assists with maintaining office files and records.
Provides typing services for kitchen and Food & Beverage office as well as any special community correspondence. Assist with other business office functions, graphics, bulletins, flyers, posters - (all confidential for Human Resources.), e.g., copying, materials preparation, reposts, menus.
Type all in-house and Banquet Event Orders and distribute them to their designated location.
Assists with maintaining inventory and ordering of office supplies and equipment.
Assists in payroll by following up with staff who have missed punches.
Assists in maintaining office computers and printers.
Assists in the dining room when needed.
Practices positive resident relations by demonstrating LCS hospitality and service standards to residents, families, and their guests.
Practices all safety, loss prevention and infection control procedures.
Meets, or exceeds, LCS standards of appearance; comply with LCS sanitation, hygiene, and health standards for community personnel.
Performs other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Attends in-service meetings and as required.
Always maintains and protects the confidentiality of resident and team member information.
Others duties are assigned by the managers.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
Minimum of three-years office work experience
Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point, Outlook.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
Ability to effectively communicate either written or verbal with residents, families, supervisors, employees.
Ability to effectively communicate via the telephone, email, and text.
Ability to provide office and clerical services in a senior housing and health care environment which meets, or exceeds, LCS hospitality and service standards.
Willingness to work with the seniors. Ability to physically handle weights up to and including 30 pounds.
Accepts other assignments and tasks as needed provided by the Director of Hospitality.
