JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY:

Network Directory and Infrastructure Services Implementation. Knowledge of domain administration and troubleshooting, Active Directory, Microsoft FIM, Exchange, Microsoft Office365 and supporting technologies, Microsoft Azure, NPS, Federation and SQL Server administration required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide Implementation and Level III problem isolation and resolution for a Global Active Directory Network. Supports upgrades and lifecycle management for AD-related Infrastructure, Software, Tools and cloud based applications.

Understands and repairs Domain infrastructure including PKI, DNS, DHCP, ADLDS, ADFS and FIM Sync. Understands and can configure/install Windows Server 2008r2/2012r2 and 2016 technologies for domain controllers and Radius Authentication servers. Candidate will need to fulfill service requests and resolve incidents related to Directory and Identity Management Services plus rotate in an on-call basis.

Must be available to work a varied shift schedule in a 7x24 hour operations center environment and initiate major outage communications with technical bridges as requested. Apply fix procedures as instructed for repetitive events and coordinate with impacted constituencies.

COMPETENCIES:

Superior knowledge of Active Directory overall and its administrative components. Exceptional customer service, problem solving, and communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.

The candidate will perform at the highest level of systems administration and problem determination required to support large, complex implementation of Active Directory including implementation and support of group policies, cross-forest trusts and sites and services. Must Adhere to Service Management Processes and Procedures (Change, Incident, Problem) and Ensure customer satisfaction by consulting with Applications and other services who utilize Active Directory. Candidate should have expert knowledge of Federation protocols including OAuth, SAML, WSFed, and a deep understanding of the IDP and SP roles associated with Federation environments.

Candidate will have worked with Office 365 from an Identity standpoint and have an understanding of Azure Active Directory Sync and Identity Federation for Cloud services. Expertise should include attribute mapping and troubleshooting as well as rule sets associated with AADSync. Candidate must be able to correctly configure servers and clients for all services including the procurement and support of Policy Key Infrastructure (PKI) environments.

Understands and uses the appropriate tools such as PowerShell in all instances during problem isolation and repair. Possesses an in depth understanding of communications technologies and can isolate and resolve most infrastructure issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates Degree Minimum, prefer Computer Science or technology area or telecommunications science business minor. Three (3) to six (6) months of specialized technical courses in Windows, Azure and Active Directory technologies typically provided by vendors, technical societies, or equivalent experience. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 6 to 8 YEARS

JOB DESCRIPTION: * FCEs assist with the implantation and support of cardiac devices as well as provide support for interventional procedures. FCEs will also assist in the day-to-day management of various clinical trial-related issues, working under some supervision, and provide educational and technical support in response to cath lab inquiries from physicians, nurses and other health care professionals, as related to clinical trial protocols, clinical study collection, logistics, and/or the use of similar instruments in clinical practice. FCEs will identify and routinely use the most effective, cost efficient and best business practices to execute processes, continually evaluating their effectiveness and appropriateness. FCEs will also exercise judgment in planning, organizing and performing work; monitor performance and report status to manager; engage in activities and behaviors to become proficient in the servicing of accounts and their needs as they relate to the study and use of complex equipment and devices. * Provides technical assistance and support for procedures in which Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and/or Percutaneous Heart Pumps (PHP) products are used, including during pre- and post-use * Provides regional implant consultation to Abbott colleagues on an as-needed basis * Develops and executes instrument setup for OCT & PHP devices for specific procedural/protocol requirements * Assists in the support of complex percutaneous intervention procedures performed under clinical trial protocols or clinical practice as they relate to active clinical trial protocols * Remains technically competent relative to best practices and the products offered in the marketplace and serves a resource in technical and research literature knowledge in the fields he/she supports * Develops, leads and/or facilitates trainings and other programs on Abbott clinical trial protocols and products to healthcare professionals * Ensures that all pertinent patient information required per protocol is completed and forwarded to the appropriate research staff as required * Responsible for the management and control of any assigned investigational or other necessary inventory * Performs work that involves a high degree of independence performing mostly tactical roles but consultative over time (i.e. providing guidance in Cath lab to HCPs) * Identifies reports and advises of customer needs, product performance and potential protocol difficulties to Clinical Research Scientists in charge of the study and R&D personnel in charge of product development * Assures any adverse events or malfunctions are reported within the prescribed time to trial compliance and/or PER customer service * Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Abbott policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors. * Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned, which may include taking call on evenings and weekends for time-sensitive patient and customer needs.
