We're hiring a sales-inclined, operationally-minded manager to lead our home buying efforts.

Through a combination of process, tooling, salesmanship, and analytics you will own and manage the day-to-day flow of our home buying process. It's your job to: 1) responsibly deploy capital, 2) uphold team SLAs, and 3) grow capacity with demand all in the service of getting our customers into their future homes.

This will include recruiting, training, and mentoring our Sales team and Agent partners i.e. performance tracking, KPI-setting, compensation, and ROI analysis. We expect you to become an expert on our tool stack and sales process including developing a deep understanding of the home-buying process and the associated consumer psychology.

On any given day, you might: analyze team performance data, speak with a half-dozen agents to get a pulse on market heat, extend $1M+ of offers to buy homes, or cobble together the latest SaaS tool combination to automate a recurring demand.

Loose qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in business or quantitative fields, or equivalent work experience (sales experience welcomed)

  • 2-4 years of work experience in finance, technology, or other highly software-enabled company ideally early or growth stage environment

  • Highly amicable and conversational nature with strong empathy and EQ

  • Robust familiarity with G-Suite, Slack, and other modern collaboration tools

  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills fearless in the face of an angry customer

This role requires a heavy technical acumen and expertise across display, search, social, analytics and attribution. A thorough understanding of the digital ad landscape is required. The successful candidate will also employ exceptional interpersonal skills; you will serve internal stakeholders as a business partner and thought leader. The role requires an acute attention to detail, an eye for operational efficiencies, and a mastery of workflows and processes. While this role will focus on creating efficient operations through technical excellence, you will also be required to roll up your sleeves and be involved in the day to day operations of each team. This might include executing display campaigns, pulling reports for the social team, or expanding keywords for search. International teams will be included in the overall workflows, and some travel will be necessary to support their needs. Responsibilities: * Oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of the digital acquisition technology stack, including tools to manage search, display and social marketing * Build business models and develop informed core KPIs for each acquisition channel * Enable the business to make actionable decisions by implementing data frameworks and tracking technologies * Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless data flow between external ad and analytics systems and internal data stores * Roll out tracking technologies across all channels, including search, display, email, content syndication, and any other advertising channel * Manage relationships with key vendors * Enforce effective processes for PR / PO management, as well as internal funds transfer tracking * Develop frameworks for testing new technologies and optimization techniques, including A/B tests, site personalization, and user profiling * Create user-centric ad targeting solutions, based on customer personas and the funnel * Develop ABM marketing solutions and processes for working with external vendors when required * Periodically audit each marketing channel and enforce best practices and KPIs * Discover and push optimization strategies to improve customer journey and drive additional pipeline Qualifications: * 10-12 years' experience in technical ad operations, specifically working with ad servers * 5+ years working with analytics, Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics preferred * Ability to design large-scale platforms and oversee implementation * Fluency with all terms and concepts of digital acquisition landscape and technologies * Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with external teams and develop relationships with various stakeholders * Technical degree preferred Servicenow San Francisco CA
