Become an integral part of a diverse team in the Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented Acquisition Specialist in the Chantilly, VA area, with strong Customer relationships. At ManTech, you will help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.
The IOS Division provides mission solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security. A qualified candidate will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:
Provide multi-functional Acquisition Support in a multi-SAP environment in accordance with customer policies and procedures to originate, modify, revise and/or updates: Contract administration documentation, contract modification documents, Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), internal/external organizational correspondence, Requests for Proposals (RFP), acquisition plans and strategies, award fee plans and specifications, statement of work (SOW), statement of Objectives (SOO), Acquisition Resource Center (ARC) announcements, justification and approvals (J&A), and contract award documentation
Review, annotate and track invoices, as well as investigate and resolve payment and/or invoice discrepancies
Perform workflow processes with respect to the acceptance, rejection and/or payment of invoices
Serve as a Liaison between Office of Contracts, Program Control (Finance), and all customers providing and coordinating information, questions, concerns and contract data for all actions to include attending meetings with Group Chiefs, Team Chiefs, COTRs, Program Managers and Senior Management to clarify and/or research acquisition content and data
Originate, modify, revise and/or update contract documentation for briefings and/or meetings
Originate, modify, revise and/or update written correspondence with respect to contract actions
Develop, revise, update and implement tracking systems for action items and other areas as requested by the Contracting Officers and Specialists
Perform cost and/or price analysis
Perform other duties as necessary and/or requested to satisfy the ebb and flow of the workload within the contracts organization
Security Clearance Requirement:
Active/current TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required.
Bachelor's degree (or High School Diploma and additional 4 years of relevant experience).
At least 8 years of relevant experience in the administration field supporting a business (contracts, human resources, finance, etc,) with at least 2 years experience in contracts administration at the National Reconnaissance Office.
