Grant Thornton is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Operations Transformation service line and support the project team with end-to-end acquisition lifecycle support services to government clients and program areas.

At Grant Thornton, our professional staff develops work products, such as acquisition plans, market surveys and complete solicitations, with emphasis on Sections B, C, L, and M, and source selection plans.
Develops work products, such as acquisition plans, market surveys and complete solicitations, with emphasis on Sections B, C, L, and M, and source selection plans. Work with the contracting officer and other stakeholders to develop and execute acquisition strategies and methods.
Plan and execute engagement tasks, work products and deliverables.
Maintain a good working relationship with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and work with client management and staff at all levels to perform engagement services.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials
Secret Clearance Required
Knowledge and experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), acquisition lifecycle, contract writing, solicitation development and source selection and evaluation.
Ability to develop point papers, briefings and presentations, and make formal oral presentations of these materials to all levels of government personnel.
Ability to assist clients in interpreting, implementing and complying with federal procurement regulations and contractual requirements including the FAR, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and OMB Circulars.
High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
Ability to conduct comprehensive research and analysis of contract requirements.
Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
