You will support a DoD client providing exemplary acquisition and contract management Information Technology (IT) systems support.
More About the Role:
As an outstanding acquisition application manager, your responsibilities will include:
Providing support to the Contracting Office for the E-Commerce Operations applications with Systems Administration consultation and representation specific to Management Tracking and Reporting (MTR), along with its sub-system applications;
Contractor performance evaluations regarding the scope of work for contractor deliverables;
Attend working group meetings as they occur daily/weekly/monthly and working directly with project managers, programmers/developers, third party vendors and end-users to ensure software functional and technical design requirements are met;
Evaluate/analyze the establishment of and changes to E-Commerce applications/subsystems business rules;
Coordinate and Verify that all Managed Care Support Contractor Services (MCSC) and other designated contractors with deliverables (weekly, monthly, etc.) for performance oversight and evaluations regarding each designated contractor's scope of work are appropriately uploaded into the Performance Assessment Tracking (PAT) tool and Extranet sub-system tracking tool;
Perform data analysis to compile contract life cycle information and prepare detailed high level executive reports on various contract activities as directed and/or required;
Provide technical application training and application administration support to the client's staff and other client regional offices; and
Prepare and maintain application training materials, desktop guides, and maintain the Home Page links to reference documents, contracting process flows, business rules, news announcements, etc.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major in any field that includes or is supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: finance, business, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, information systems or computer science. You may substitute 15 years of experience in information technology systems or computer systems related tasks;
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT System Administration, Contract Specialist, or Procurement Analyst;
Knowledge of DoD acquisition system policies and procedures, laws, and regulations;
Knowledge of the federal acquisition process and contracting principles;
Knowledge of the DoD Procurement Data Standard;
Ability to resolve complex problems and develop concrete action plans to solve problems; and
Must demonstrate customer service skills.
