This VISTA will be based in the Brooklyn, NY office. This role's primary focus will be the development and increased capacity work of the network support team. This team supports schools and operations teams across the network so it is a phenomenal experience for anyone wanting to see a large organization at work while also impacting the lives of 15,000+ students.

This role will focus on building organizational capacity in one or more of the following areas: transportation and educational access, food security, student recruitment and access to educational opportunities, and diversity & inclusion based training for staff across three regions and 41 schools. Member Duties : This role will work closely with senior network operations staff to develop organizational capacity in a number of areas, including but not limited to: food security, transportation and educational access, diversity & inclusion staff training, and recruitment of students in high-needs areas. On a daily basis, this role is creating tools and resources to help improve the organization in these key areas.

This role is most likely creating event plans, project plans, and organizing learning information in such a way as to increase the efficacy of staff members across the network. This is a great experience for anyone wanting to see how to make a big organization run from behind the scenes!
