  • Demonstrates specialized, technical, product knowledge for ACH solution, market and competitive intelligence.

  • Sells ACH solution by developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts.

  • Solicits and maintains network of prospects..

  • Works as a member of a sales team to sell ACH to identified key accounts.

  • Prepares and presents proposals, presentations, use cases, etc. to clients and prospects utilizing FIS resources and tools.

  • Negotiates, structures and closes "deals" that meet client expectations and FIS's ability to deliver; utilizes appropriate company resources per the resources plan to provide product marketing support or specialized product sales expertise.

  • Takes an active role in directing/managing various field sales organization solicitations.

  • Assists in the development of sales plans and strategies.

  • Meets sales goals and objectives.

  • Other related duties assigned as needed.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Extensive ACH experience required

  • Good understanding of specific FIS products and services

  • General knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology including systems, applications and banking practices

  • Requires expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Requires solid decision-making and problem-solving skills

  • Analytical skills are required to determine client business needs and requirements

  • Ability to remain calm under various levels of pressure

  • Ability to show established track record of involvement in industry trade groups preferred

  • Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management (internally/externally), employees, clients and public

  • Travel is required

You will support selling Code Connect and open APIs. Code Connect provides a hub for FIS clients to access application programming interfaces (APIs) for development, testing and production. This solution includes APIs focused on banking, payments and consumer finance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Has ability to deliver expert product presentations / demonstrations for the supported solution set. * Effectively communicate / discuss integration and related technology: e.g. REST, Web Services, Gateway, Single Sign-on, Batch, SDKs * Ability to simplify technical concepts in easy to understand business terms. * Can creatively solution business problems. Work with the Open APIs product team to define and adapt offerings to address client needs and market demand, including related professional services and enhancements. * Serves as a resource for demonstration scripting and enhancement recommendations * Drives system and demonstration improvements * Works as a member of a sales team to assist selling assigned products and related professional services to identified key accounts. * Demonstrates specialized knowledge of specific product including various solutions, market, and competitive intelligence * Demonstrates advanced knowledge of related (companion) solutions beyond their primary focus * Provides product content to sales executive for inclusion into proposals for clients – utilizing FIS resources and tools * Assists in the development of sales plans and strategies * Assists in the development of product sales presentations * Provides product related responses to RFPs * Identifies challenges and issues within the product sales process * Takes and active/ownership role in resolving issues and challenges within the product sales process * Maintains a network of contacts keeping product knowledge current * Prepares and presents proposals to clients – utilizing FIS resources and tools. * General knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology including systems, applications and banking practices.
