ACE Advanced Studies Instructor applicants are teachers currently employed by an ACE partner school district seeking approval to teach a course for GCC credit at the high school as a part of their regular course offerings.
Successful candidates will:
Have a Master's Degree in the discipline they are seeking to teach or a related Master's Degree with at least 12 credit hour of graduate study in the discipline.
Have the approval of their school administration to offer the GCC course.
Submit a syllabus for approval prior to the course being offered for student registration.
After approval, Advanced Studies Instructors must follow all procedures in the Instructor Handbook and the Memorandum of Understanding.
To be considered, applicants must submit a resume and both undergraduate and graduate transcripts. Cover letters are helpful, however not required.
