This position is responsible for analysis and reconciliation of various operating expense and liability accounts, monthly accruals and inquiries from field personnel, preparation of monthly account analyses and other schedules, application of key elements of various joint venture agreements and assisting with preparation of monthly and quarterly internal and external reporting.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Financial Accounting Supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly accruals and journal entries

  • Prepare monthly cash calls, invoices and wire transfers for all joint ventures

  • Reconcile various liability/operating expense accounts monthly

  • Prepare various joint venture deliverables for "FERC" reporting on a quarterly basis.

  • Interact with field personnel to understand operating expenses

  • Prepare and analyze several monthly joint venture operating reporting packages

  • Ensure detailed compliance with Sarbanes/Oxley 404 controls and procedures

  • Ensure effective communication with Financial Accounting Supervisor and Manager

  • Ability to understand key components of joint venture agreements and apply them to assigned tasks as needed

  • Various other projects as needed by supervisor and manager

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting

  • 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience

  • Proficient with MS Office products including excellent Excel skills

  • Oracle software experience a plus

  • Midstream oil and gas experience a plus

As a Sr. Account Manager and part of Wells Fargo Merchant Services, you are the primary contact for our Wells Fargo Service Providers and merchants. The Sr. Account Manager performs strategic, tactical and support functions for Wells Fargo Merchant Services, strengthening relationships across the Service Provider and Payment Facilitator business segment primarily within Wells Fargo's treasury management and wholesale banking departments. This position will be tasked with developing quantifiable business/customer action plans that include management goals and profitability targets.
