In this multifaceted position, you'll coordinate accreditation, compliance, and assessment activities, manage databases, and facilitate stakeholder collaboration. You'll also support compliance reporting efforts, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and maintaining documentation integrity. Additionally, you'll provide essential support in managing documentation, facilitating communication, and ensuring the accuracy of pertinent websites. The Accreditation and Compliance Administrative Assistant position plays a pivotal role in supporting accreditation and compliance efforts to enhance the student experience. The office is situated under the Vice Provost and Accreditation and Assessment Coordinator and works with deans, faculty, staff and administrators across all of UAF's schools, colleges and locations.
We are seeking an individual with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to multitask effectively. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the capacity to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
Adaptability, critical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential traits for success in this dynamic role. Previous experience in administrative support, database management, or higher education settings would be advantageous.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and two years office/administrative experience relevant to the job duties, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Position Details:
This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 78, based on education and experience.
