As an Accounts Supervisor, your key responsibility will be monitoring and supervising staff responsible for generating invoices, handling a portion of customer accounts, generating reports, managing the Power Division credit card program and assisting in the development and implementation of new technologies and process related to customer billing. Critical for success are strong leadership skills, attention to detail while working in a fast paced environment and the ability to maintain high levels of professionalism and customer service.

What it takes:

  • Associate's Degree in related field, 5-7 years of related experience or equivalent combination

  • Knowledge and/or experience in finance or accounting

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Accounting Software experience

About The Opportunity Position Summary To provide accurate and timely cash application to company accounts as customer payments arrive. Work with operating companies/credit departments to solve payment discrepancies and questions. Reconcile accounts receivable transactions to the cash received by multiple banks in multiple bank accounts in various currencies. Essential to this Position Key Duties and Responsibilities: * Understand, process and perform accurate and timely application of cash receipts to customer accounts for each legal entity and appropriate currency (No credit or collection calls to customers) * Identify and route all accounts receivable application exceptions to the appropriate business unit personnel/credit departments * Work with Menasha Corporation Operating Companies/Credit Departments to solve cash application discrepancies and questions * Provide assistance to division representatives, answering questions and helping with unusual situations as they arise * Provide guidance to credit department personnel, corporate accountants and external auditors in understanding the accounts receivable process and its impact on the General Ledger * Reconcile multiple bank accounts on a daily and monthly basis * Understand technology and equipment that are an integral part of the accounts receivable process, including SAP, Sharepoint, multiple bank lockboxes,interfaces from multiple banks in multiple currencies, and required record storage * Provide back up to Accounts Receivable Coordinator as needed * Assist with maintaining the AR SharePoint site * Assist in special projects within the department Essential for Success: * Associate Degree in Accounting Required * No Experience Required; Will Train * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment * Strong experience with computer skills, including Microsoft Office; ERP/SAP experience preferred * Strong mathematical and problem solving skills * Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines under pressure situations * Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail * Excellent data entry skills Education / Certifications Education Required Associate's Degree Education Desired Associate's Degree Field Of Study Accounting or Finance Skills & Experience Work Experience Required Some relevant experience required Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired * Knowledge of finance, financial methods, tools and strategies * Ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material * Knowledge of and ability to use processes, tools and techniques for exploring and evaluating alternative financial scenarios and results * Knowledge of the functions, tools and processes needed to manage financial assets and liabilities throughout the organization * Knowledge of the methods, processes, and tools for maintaining the books of the organization and preparing financial statements and reports * Knowledge of financial and accounting applications specific to the organization About Menasha Corporate Menasha Corporation is a leading corrugated and plastic packaging manufacturer and supply chain solutions provider specializing in retail merchandising packaging and displays, plastic reusable containers and pallets, protective packaging interiors, and packaging supply chain and fulfillment services.
