Accounts Resolution Specialist

The Purpose of Your Role

We have an opportunity for you to join our accounts receivable team as an Accounts Resolution Specialist. Our account resolution specialists provide a valuable service to our clients and other Apexers by staying in touch with the accounts payable departments of our debtors.

This position will be full-time, Monday through Friday, and pay starts at $17.25. Initial training will be conducted onsite and will transition to a hybrid work arrangement. For this reason, candidates should be local to the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area.

When invoices start aging or invoice issues are uncovered in other departments, our account resolution specialists work to resolve payment delays by staying involved with their own portfolio of debtors, which keeps Apex and our clients on track for success. Our best account resolution specialists are good at connecting with people and negotiating the systems they've put in place to do business. They can relieve potentially uncomfortable situations by considering the needs of everyone involved.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage a debtor portfolio while building and maintaining debtor relationships.

• Mitigate risk by routinely monitoring debtor accounts for signs of deteriorating payment trends or account issues.

• Responsible for ensuring the timely collection of accounts receivable by resolving any issues impeding payment.

Required Experience & Skills

• Customer Services or Inside Sales Experience.

• Good telephone etiquette, problem solving, and mediation skills.

Preferred Experience & Education

• Some college or bachelor's degree

• Experience with trucking, logistics, or with accounts receivable.
