Accountemps has an immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable Specialist with a prominent technology company in Tampa! The Account Receivable Specialist is responsible for day-to-day prioritization, resolution, and processing of all general AR tasks to ensure effectiveness in the department as team. Responsibilities ? Perform daily check deposits, credit card deposits, and customer account updates as needed. ? Collect and follow up on past due balances for outstanding accounts. ? Perform monthly billing preparations and processing. ? Resolve account issues in a timely manner by communicating effectively with clients, the Sales Team, and the Client Success team. ? Prepare documentation for approval and entering credit memos. ? Provisioning and deactivating software licensing. ? Process various requests from Salesforce queue to ensure accurate billings.

Qualifications ? Minimum 2 years of experience. ? Experience working in fast pace environment with changing priorities. ? Ability to think quickly and analytically. ? Attention to detail, team player ? Excellent communication skills ? Bachelor's Degree preferred.

VIEW JOBS 11/4/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-02T00:00 Inputs and processes various accounts payable invoices, employee reimbursements, and petty cash transactions, following all Accounting Department policies and procedures. * Reviews and processes invoices from receipt of invoice to payment or mailing, verifying billing accuracy and determining general ledger account distribution. * Prepares check copies for auditing by Internal Audit. * Scans and indexes invoices in invoice workflow approval software. * Sets up new vendors on accounts payable system. * Processes Automated Clearing House (ACH) entries daily. * Processes employee reimbursements, petty cash, and general ledger transactions. * Reconciles general ledger accounts as assigned. * Assists with preparing accounts payable information for annual audit. Assists internal and external auditors as it relates to accounts payable functions. * Responds by phone or email to vendor inquiries and requests. * Troubleshoots system errors with Great Plains and Information Technology Department. Tests all new AP releases for Great Plains system. * Processes year-end 1099 file for Internal Revenue Service. * Adheres to Accounting Department policies and procedures for processing and payments of all invoices and reimbursements. * Attends job-specific training classes as requested by manager. This includes, but is not limited to, completing annual BSA/AML Compliance Training and understanding employee's role in maintaining an effective BSA/AML compliance program, and completing FACT Act Red Flag training. Education & Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Three or more years previous experience in accounts payable, preferably with a Financial Institution. * Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized. * Good knowledge and understanding of Credit Union products, services, policies, and procedures, as they apply to the accounts payable function. * Good knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance necessary to successfully perform job responsibilities. * Good knowledge and understanding of all Credit Union computer systems and software programs required to perform job duties. * Good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to interact professionally and effectively with members, staff, and vendors. * Must be able to work under moderate supervision. • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
