Accounts Receivable/Member Billing Associate

Our award-winning luxury country club in South Florida is seeking an experienced accounts receivable/member billing associate primarily responsible for the receipt, posting and reporting of all member accounts. Candidates must have excellent customer service presentation and communication skills. We also prefer candidates that possess at least 1 year of accounting / front desk /or concierge experience within a well-established country club or full-service hotel. This position requires excellent people skills and a solid accounting knowledge. The candidate must have strong detail-orientation and organizational skills. The successful candidate will possess a professional image representative of our Club and will have proficient knowledge of Microsoft EXCEL and WORD applications. Experience with Jonas Encore system software is preferred. EOE/DFWP

• Audits all outlets daily work and updates to the member file.

• Updates pro shop member files on a daily basis.

• Enters all approved accounts receivables adjustments.

• Records receipt of member payments.

• Processes and prepares member monthly statements.

• Process all checks and credit card vouchers through banking and credit card software.

• Verifies billing of dues, privilege billings and installment payments.

• Responds to member requests/questions regarding charges on their account.

• Interacts with Department Heads to research member inquires.

REQUIREMENTS

• A professional image representative of our Club

• Strong detail-orientation and communication skills

• Experience within hotel or private club industry, preferred

• Experience in Accounting/Finance, preferred

• Proficient Microsoft Excel knowledge
