Accounts Receivable Team Supervisor

The Accounts Receivable Supervisor is a key, customer facing member of CVG's AR Leadership Group and a subject matter expert in all AR areas. This position will ensure the accurate and timely processing, reporting, and distribution for customer billing and payment transactions. The AR Supervisor has the responsibility of directing and managing the AR Analyst and Specialists within their group, including coaching and training. This role will also partner with Sales, Business Development, Customer Service, Engineering, and divisional Finance and Accounting teams to assist with the development of policies, procedures, and process improvements.

Job Responsibilities (responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following)

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Accounts Receivable processes, controls, and systems -recommending and implementing process and system improvements, as necessary.

• Supervise the AR Senior Analyst and Specialists directing workflows and monitoring fluctuations to ensure a consistent, equitable workload for all team members.

• Assist in developing and tracking performance expectations to accurately measure individual and group progress.

• Provide day-day guidance & coaching, increasing the teams' understanding of processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all processes.

• Perform regular reviews and analysis of customer account balances and write-offs, which will also include working with the Reporting Analyst to prepare the month-end bad debt reserve calculations for assigned divisions.

• Develop and maintain effective relationships through collaboration and consistent timely communication to all cross functional stakeholders.

• Provide outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers.

• Analyze policies and procedures and make recommendations for efficiency improvement.

• Assist in the development, upgrade, implementation and testing of new systems, special projects, initiatives, analysis, and processes.

• Use technology and data analytical skills to enhance and improve the delivery of job responsibilities.

• Identify patterns and pain points and make recommendations for areas of improvement.

• Execute all functions in adherence to company policies and controls.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
