Responsibilities

• Responds to and resolves escalated customer account issues; follows up to address with responsible department/business partner

• Interviews, hires, supervises, coaches, trains, evaluates, motivates employees

• Reviews and approves reconciliation variances between sales and customer accounts including debit / credit write-offs

• Reviews, adjusts and posts AR files to Unit 4 CODA GL for daily reconciliation of AR transactions including general ledger reclass entries

• Verifies accuracy of data transmitted to third-party finance/lease, credit card and check guarantee providers

• Researches fraudulent transactions and coordinates loss prevention procedures

• Audits customer refund checks for accuracy

• Audits bank statement for bankcard chargeback or fee activity and creates entry for posting

• Reconciles month-end schedules for store and theater receivable accounts

• Validates and retains tax exempt documents

• Any other function or responsibility as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications

• 3+ years accounts receivable/sales audit experience

• 1-3 years supervisory experience preferred

• Ability to lead, direct and motivate others

• Experience in high volume, retail AR/sales audit background

• Experience with Unit 4 CODA, General Electric Retail Systems (GERS) & Crystal Reporting a plus but not required

• Intermediate knowledge of Accounting, journal entries, balance sheet recs & accruals

• Working knowledge Of Accounts Receivable Best Practices

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage time

• Meticulous attention to detail

• Excellent problem solving & analytical skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred

• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
