As our Accounts Receivable Supervisor, you'll be the go-to person for 15-20 specialists within our AR department. Reporting directly to the Senior AR Manager, your responsibilities are pivotal in shaping the operational culture and performance standards of our AR team. You'll ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently, from invoicing to collections, and help us keep our customer relationships strong and positive.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Monitoring and managing collections activities, you'll oversee the process of following up with customers on overdue payments, implementing effective collection strategies to minimize bad debt, and preserving positive customer relations throughout the process.

  • Provide direction and guidance to your team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment where each member feels empowered to contribute to our collective success.

  • Handling customer inquiries and resolving disputes with professionalism and efficiency, you'll play a crucial role in nurturing positive relationships with our clients, safeguarding our reputation for exceptional service.

  • Investing in the growth and development of your team members, you'll provide mentorship and support to help them expand their skills and excel in their roles within the AR function.

  • Identifying opportunities for streamlining AR processes and enhancing operational efficiency, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to implement improvements that drive tangible results and contribute to our overall performance.

  • Engaging with senior management to align AR strategies with broader organizational objectives, you'll play a key role in driving our company's financial success and growth trajectory.

What You'll Need to Do It:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.

  • 2+ years collections experience working in a fast-paced, high volume corporate collections environment.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).

  • Top notch leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
