We are hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist/Collections Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the proven ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment. This position will report directly to the AP/AR Manager.

General Responsibility:

Proactively resolve customer cases and pursue customer collections.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare, maintain, and update spreadsheets to track customer collection needs

• Coordinate with internal Customer Service colleagues on collection efforts.

• Manage collection process with an emphasis on customer service, including mailing letters and making phone calls to customers.

• Process customer credit card payments.

• Assist with various Accounts Receivable tasks.

Education:

• Associate Degree in Accounting or Business (Preferred but not required)
• High school diploma required

Experience/Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of similar experience

• Attention to detail and accuracy is imperative

• Well organized, self-starter with a strong work ethic, professional attitude, and good time management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment, with emphasis on accuracy and customer service

• Effective communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Resident of the Austin, TX area
