Accounts Receivable Specialist

Summary: Provide financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure
efficient, timely, and accurate payment of assigned accounts.

Responsibilities:

Apply customer payments.
Daily reconciliation of cash application batches.
Research and solve payment discrepancies.
Process credit card payments and credits.
Identify daily unapplied amounts, post to customer accounts, call on
back-up.
Make adjustments to accounts as needed.
Maintenance of records for auditing purposes (filing remittances, payment
applications, backup).
Prepare daily bank deposits.
Investigate and resolve customer inquiries.
Complete monthly/quarterly sales/use tax returns.
Provides exceptional customer service to all internal and external
customers.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or
  1 year or more related experience and/or training.
