Accounts Receivable Specialist I (MA Division) Temporary

The purpose of this position is to ensure accurate and timely entry of CVS related invoices into Ariba and assist with other A/R functions. This position will work closely with the Collections team.

This position is expected to perform at a consistent high level and make contributions to improving the processes utilized in the department. This position may involve contact with internal customer and external customers, both via telephone and e-mail.

Essential Functions:

In order to work effectively as Accounts Receivable Specialist I, the position is expected to work closely with and support the collections team:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely entry of CVS related invoices into Ariba

  • Act as the administrator for Ariba users

  • Process credit card payments for consumable purchases

  • Investigate and release credit holds for MA division

  • Conducting research and pulling documentation

  • Understanding and complying with SOX controls

  • Assist as needed with collection efforts by contacting customers via email or phone

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by manager

Basic Qualifications:
3+ years with accounts receivable related experience


Required Knowledge and

Skills:
  • Proficiency in Data Entry and 10 Key

  • Ability to work with multiple tasks to meet deadlines

  • Must be highly organized

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel and external contacts

  • Demonstrate excellent problem solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and handle frequent interruptions and priority changes

  • Proficiency with MS Excel

Preferred Knowledge and

Skills:
  • AA degree with Field of Study in Accounting/Finance preferred

  • Ariba & SAP Experience is a plus
