Our business is growing and we are hiring Our Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for managing and processing accounts receivable transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collection of payments. This is a Full-time position in Montgomery County, Maryland starting September 2024 with a hybrid schedule of in-person and partially remote hours.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Procare software and knowledge of state subsidy and voucher programs. Key Responsibilities (what you will do): Manage and process accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Procare software.

Track and collect outstanding payments, following up with families and agencies as needed. Verify and process state subsidy and voucher payments, ensuring compliance with program requirements. Collaborate with the finance team to resolve billing discrepancies and issues.

Prepare and distribute regular financial reports related to accounts receivable. Provide excellent customer service to families regarding billing and payment inquiries. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Requirements: Qualifications: Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills: Bachelor's degree/Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role Proficiency in Procare software is required Knowledge of state subsidy and voucher programs is essential Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Highly organized and able to prioritize and multi-task Team-oriented and willing to work with others Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Why You'll Love Us: We invite you to join our growing community and hope you'll find a rewarding and fulfilling career at our schools.
