Accounts Receivable Specialist

Our company is looking for a highly motivated, self-starting individual to fill an opening in our Nashville or Knoxville location. Our company specializes in boiler and boiler related equipment sales, service and repair, with offices in Georgia and Tennessee. The position classification within our company is that of Accounts Receivable Specialist. Below is a list of the duties, responsibilities & required qualifications necessary to be considered for employment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for billing Startup, Parts and Equipment Sales.

• Back up billing for all service areas

• Assist with company expense application

• Process receipt of goods for pickup orders as needed

• Assist with collecting Purchase Orders for Invoices

• Assist in handling credit card payments

• Assist with Billing requests and questions from customers via phone or email

• Assist with transferring main line phone calls

• Other duties as assigned

• Reasonable, reliable attendance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.

• 1-2 years of relevant experience is required.

• General knowledge of accounting is a plus.

Physical & Personal Requirements:

• Successfully pass a drug test and background check

• Occasionally required to stand or walk; sit at a desk for up to 8hours a day.

• Ability to work in a controlled climate (68-72 degrees).

• Occasionally required to lift or move up to 25 pounds.

• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

• Reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl ; talk or hear; taste or smell.

• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
