Key Responsibilities
" The duties of a Collections/Accounts Receivable Specialist include collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast paced goal-oriented Collections/AR department
" Post daily deposits
" Responsible for monitoring and maintaining accounts, customer calls/emails, account adjustments, customer reconciliations and processing credit memos
" Accountable for reducing delinquency for past due accounts
" Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department
" Enlist the efforts of sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process
" Must communicate & follow up effectively with sales department regarding customer accounts on a timely basis
" Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with customers and co-workers

Required Skills
" 2+ years high volume experience in AR
" Accounts Receivable knowledge/experience a plus
" Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented
" Commitment to excellent customer service and client communication
" Logical deduction skills
" Excellent written and verbal communication abilities & problem solving skills
" Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a timely manner

Develops SC compliance policies, procedures and controls designed to support Federal Government Compliance. Reviews the work of procurement personnel for compliance with Federal Procurement rules applicable to Vigor Government subcontracts. Validates the application of Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR), FAR supplements (DFARS, etc.), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and other Government customer requirements. This position provides ongoing Federal contracting expertise and Government contract shared service support in collaboration with program personnel and other shared service functions. Serves as the point of contact for procurement and program personnel application of compliance requirements. This position maintains a variety of professional relationships and must be able to determine the appropriate level of communication and interaction for various situations. The ability to effectively influence decisions through respectful interactions with others both within the organization and outside the organization is essential in this role. RESPONSIBILITY: Directly and indirectly manages the implementation of procurement compliance policy, procedures and practices through training program personnel within and throughout the Supply Chain Team. Provides oversight, monitors performance and audits processes to achieve Vigor Government program procurement compliance goals. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: * Identifies Government subcontracting risks and exposures. Provides recommended improvements to Government procurement policies, procedures and practices. * Establishes Government contract procurement compliance strategies, controls and practice implementation. * Monitors the development and implementation of procedures for subcontract management and administration in compliance with company policy, FAR, various FAR supplements, and quality requirements. * Reviews Government procurement files for compliance. * Provides guidance on Government procurement matters to SC staff, project managers and other operational staff. * Prepares and delivers training on Federal Contract procurement compliance to reinforce procurement policies and procedures and key Federal Procurement compliance subject matter. * Interfaces with Program Personnel (particularly contracts, program management and quality) on key information needed to achieve Government procurement compliance. * Guides the preparation of complex Government solicitations and assists the performance of related procurement functions. * Guides negotiation teams to apply Government procurement requirements. * Provides preparation and support for Government procurement reviews. * Ensures records are maintained to demonstrate compliance with Government procurement rules, including (but not limited to) maintenance of: a) procurement files and documentation such as solicitations, b) supplier certifications, c) awarded base subcontracts, d) supplier acknowledgements, e) subcontract reporting, f) subcontract change requests, g) approved modifications, h) subcontract correspondence and i) other procurement compliance documentation. * Monitors and facilitates ongoing supplier implementation of Government contracting requirements. * Assists the analysis of supplier changes, monitors change tracking, facilitation of pricing support and procurement documentation. * Ensures Government subcontract close-out, extension, suspension, or renewal requirements are applied. EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATION: * Bachelor degree with business emphasis or other relevant degree * 10+ years of relevant professional experience. * Completion of Federal Procurement Institute and National Contract Management Association certification programs is a plus. * Graduate degree in business or a legal discipline is considered a plus. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: * Expert knowledge of Federal procurement compliance requirements (particularly FAR, DFAR and other agency supplements). * Understanding of business needs and program cost, scope and schedule requirements. * Well organized, with excellent attention to detail and demonstrated capability in communicating program requirements. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Proficient in managing a high degree of complexity resulting from overlapping deadlines. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner. * Knowledge and experience in the successful management of internal customer relationships. * Capability to guide and assist other shared services in addressing contract, cost accounting, program management and other compliance requirements. * Proficient in identifying and tracking Government contract risk and opportunities. * Ability to mentor, and guide the performance of others. * Aptitude and experience in teambuilding, contributing to the team success and maintaining a team oriented environment. * Possess strong communication, prioritization, and organizational skills. * Knowledge of personal computer and procurement applications. * Ability and experience working independently with minimal supervision. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is conducted in a dynamic, fast-paced office setting with moderate to loud noise levels from production activity in the shop. He/she may be required to be in production areas. The person must be able to walk to and from job sites. The individual may be required to lift up to 20 pounds. The person may be required to work more than 8-hour shifts and weekend work. There may be local travel up to and out-of-town travel (including air travel) up to 5% of the time with notice.
