In the Senior Premium Analyst role, you will be responsible for providing world class customer service to our clients. You will interact regularly with internal and external customers and partners as it relates to client invoicing, account reconciliation, aging reports, DSO reporting, pay history reporting and collections analysis. This role requires analyzing complex client data to reconcile and resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities/Core functions

  • Manage workflow of client accounts to resolution

  • Manage daily client collection procedures on delinquent accounts

  • Research and resolve customer disputes

  • Provide monthly status report to Premium Managers, Client Management, Finance and Underwriting

  • Manage tasks related to review of client AR for preparation of necessary adjustments/disbursements to submit to processing team

  • Research/respond to billing or payment inquiries within established turnaround times. Escalate issues as needed.

  • Interface with third party administrators, brokers and/or clients directly to reconcile accounts receivable

  • Facilitates conference calls or meetings with internal and external parties to ensure timely payments

  • Extensive research related to member eligibility and rate variances

  • Manage necessary adjustments to resolve member level discrepancies identified in reconciliation process

  • Build effective relationships with internal and external partners

  • Handle special report requests

  • Analyze client data utilizing various reports and resources

  • Plan, organize, and prioritize work to ensure completion in a timely manner

  • Validate Schedule A & C tax forms

  • Support collaboration across Operations and other departments and work cooperatively as a team member

  • Serve as subject matter expert and mentor/trainer to premium analyst team


  • Previous work experience in a financial or insurance environment

  • Accounts Receivable experience preferred

  • Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting preferred

  • High level of initiative and leadership skills

  • Ability to handle complex, difficult or escalated issues

  • Excellent organizational aptitude and strong attention to detail and follow through

  • Demonstrates responsiveness and a sense of urgency when dealing with internal and external clients

  • Team player with effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Effectively interact with all levels within the organization

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multi task, work constructively, communicate effectively and prioritize workload

  • Microsoft Office with strong Excel and Access knowledge (pivot table, vLook up, etc)

  • Perform other accounts receivable/collections duties as required
