Accounts Receivable Representative - 100% Onsite.

The Specialist, Lockbox Service Delivery is accountable for the timely and accurate processing of incoming mail (payments and correspondence) in the Epic and MEDITECH environments for hospital billing, physician billing and back office for post acute services, including patient payments and correspondence for 50 hospitals and over 4,000 clinics across multiple states (AK, CA, OR, WA/MT, Texas and New Mexico). Payments for services rendered by PHS hospitals and PHS physicians are prepared and deposited daily (in excess of $3 Million per day). The department is responsible for same day check processing including mail receipt, opening, electronic deposit/balancing, and scanning. Correspondence is received, opened and routed appropriately and timely. The Central Processing Department provides in-house document scanning services for multiple departments (Cash Processing, Hospital Billing, Physician Billing, Customer Service, Providence Senior and Community Services, and others). Under strict daily deadlines, incoming payments and processed/deposited and non-payment related items are sorted and distributed.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years Experience working in a "lockbox" or payment processing environment.

• Experience with Document Management Systems, high-volume scanning equipment, and mail processing equipment.

• Experience handling high volume, high dollar, check processing in a multi-facility/multi-bank environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Business/Finance.
• 1 year Experience working in a multi-facility integrated healthcare system.
