Job Description

Cintas is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative. Responsibilities include all accounts receivable related functions, including keeping track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts; planning course of action to recover outstanding payments; heavy phone activity with customers; locating and contacting debtors regarding payment status; negotiating payoff deadlines or payment plans; handling questions or complaints; investigating and resolving discrepancies; establishing good relationships with customers; updating account status and database regularly; alerting supervisors of customers unwilling or unable to pay outstanding amounts; complying with requirements when legal action is unavoidable.



  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Minimum 2 years' collections experience

  • Ability to use confidential information in a professional manner to achieve collections targets/goals

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intranet/internet


  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills

  • Experience with SAP and AS400

This representative will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers in order to identify new opportunities. The Outbound Call Center Representative will also monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging clients and to collaborate with CORT's local districts to expand revenue. If you have prior experience in outside sales and a desire to expand your career, we want to hear from you. We're looking for a sales-oriented professional who values productivity and customer engagement. Responsibilities * Lead the sales process identifying and cultivating both new and existing accounts. * Suggest and implement improvements in the sales development process. * Perform outbound engagement developing relationships with prospects using a sequence of the phone, email and other forms of communication. * Utilize solid time management skills to independently work. * Using CRM (Salesforce), keep Apartment Accounts updated and current for each property and contact. * Collaborate with the local Account Representatives to engage potential clients and strengthen existing client relationships. * Research and discover methods to increase prospective customer engagement and outcomes. * Articulate relevant and compelling CORT Value Propositions to industry partners, reporting quarterly on the health of business opportunities in the pipeline as well as key account metrics.
