A fantastic opportunity isavailable for an enthusiastic and experienced AccountsReceivable Lead to join our finance team in Evansville, Indiana.

About the role

  • Responsibility for supervising non-exempt staff in daily collection of receivables, deductions resolution, chargebacks, credit memos and write-offs. Review and approve adjustments and write-offs within established guidelines.

  • Continually evaluate progress against goals for DSO, deduction clearing (DDO), accounts receivable aging and bad debt reserves and adjust priorities as appropriate to ensure goals are achieved.

  • Work closely with CFS counterparts in Customer Operations (CO), Regional Sales Organization (RSO), and Distribution, monthly review DTP/DDO, past due accounts, potential write-offs and customer deductions, and to develop plans for improvements wherever appropriate.

  • Communicates effectively in both oral and written communications with conciseness and clarity. Maintain the highest level of professionalism in dealing with customers and internal clients.

  • Use sound judgment and negotiation skills in addressing customers as issues are raised to the team lead.

  • Assist the CFS Manager in establishing and maintaining an effective internal control environment in the areas of accounts receivable and new accounts.

  • Interview, select, train and direct the work of assigned subordinates. Conduct performance reviews; setting clear expectations and providing constructive feedback. Formulate individual development plans to provide growth opportunities to assist employees in meeting overall personal objectives.

  • Provide information requested by manager to fulfill internal or external customer requirements.

  • Works independently to prioritize individual tasks and influence the team to meet deadlines and commitments.

  • Support system/project implementations and integration with RB as needed.

  • Identifies and addresses opportunities to improve work processes.

  • Perform other CFS responsibilities as assigned.

Is this you?

  • 5-8 years experience in business/finance functions, preferably with a consumer products company. Experience in Order to Cash functions preferred.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SAP and BOBJ experience strongly preferred as well aptitude for other systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret problems/data gathered from a variety of sources across multiple functions to deliver superior business solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to participate as a key member on a cross-functional team; including field sales and customer service.

  • Experience working direct with customers to resolve issues/gain compliance to IFCN policies.


  • Bachelor's degree in business/finance relatedarea.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Officeproducts and ERP systems, particularly SAP.

  • Knowledge of IFCN OTC processes.

  • Understanding of industrytrends and trade practices in order to identify opportunities and resolveissues.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonalskills.

  • Understanding of financial principles and howto leverage this knowledge to make sound business decisions.

  • Understanding of internal control principlesand their applications.

  • Understanding of organizational structure,operating culture, effective work styles and management processes to achieveresults in a changing environment.

  • Understanding of the complexities of cross-functional issues.
