JOB REQUIREMENTS
Provides accounting support and expertise to the accounting department
Maintains bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets and updating information as needed
Communicates with previous clients and customers to request payment and arranges payment plans where needed
Collects payments from customers and accurately recording them in the system
Creates reports and balance sheets that document overall profits and losses
Updates client accounts based on payment or contact information
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required, associated degree in accounting preferred
3 years previous billing experience preferred
Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
Accuracy and attention to detail
Aptitude for numbers
Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
Data entry and word processing skills
Well organized
Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
