Summary: The A/R clerk assists with a portfolio of customers on past due collections and dispute resolution. Records payments to customers' accounts and maintains accounts receivable records by performing the following duties.
This position reports to the Accounting Lead, is full-time, non-exempt.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, Review, and analyze aged receivable reports and system information which facilitate the collection of aged balances.
Respond to general AR requests such as providing invoice copies, new customer forms and other general inquiries.
Perform collection calls for invoices and other charges on assigned accounts pursuant to established department policies and procedures.
Create the report for delinquent accounts and send it to the customer service and Sales department for instructions.
Perform follow-up action on a timely basis to ensure customer commitments are met.
Assist with system scrub of Master Data and all past due balances on customer accounts.
Sets the highest ethical standards for self and others.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years' experience managing collections for a portfolio of customers.
Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Excel
Oracle Experience - Receivables module (Preferred)
