OBJECTIVE: Collect and apply retail customer payments and maintain accurate accounting of all transactions, while staying compliant with the states guidelines.

DAILY DUTIES

  • Apply customer payments to open invoices as they intend for them to be applied
  • Alert customers to any short payments, skipped invoices, or other payment discrepancies
  • Communicate with customers and other departments researching discrepancies
  • Daily remote deposit of processed payments in Bank of America CashPro system
  • Maintain credit terms pursuant to NJ ABC regulations and internal policies
  • Prepare reports for other departments
  • Complete daily bank reconciliation
  • Generating daily notices of obligation
  • Send account statements to customers and sales department personnel

OTHER RESPONSIBILITES

  • Prepare reports for auditors upon request
  • Assist in creation and implementation of new billing and collection procedures
  • Assist with local post office and bank pickups/deposits in own vehicle
  • Assist in delivery driver phone calls regarding customer credit
  • Assist in mailing out credit compliance notices and statements
  • Report credit delinquencies on State credit compliance website
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Strong math skills
  • Very high attention to detail
  • Experienced MS Office user with strong Excel skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to independently manage multiple responsibilities at one time
  • Prior NJ alcohol industry experience a plus
  • Bachelors degree
  • Two years accounts receivable experience

The candidate should be comfortable with learning P&C fundamentals and Chubb products and services, developing strategies for working with each firm, and creating firm presentations and communicating with all levels of management. This entrepreneurial position is for a growth oriented business development leader which with time and success, would lead to a team built to support you. The Director of Strategic Accounts will report to the Head of Partnerships, who manages the relationships with a broad range of for profit and not for profit organizations. Key Responsibilities: * Identify firms that Chubb should partner with and create an ongoing pipeline * Open doors, create and build relationships with these firms at the top level * Create opportunities to deliver P&C key messages to Financial Advisors with meaningful books of business in our target market of successful individuals and families * Coordinate the introduction of these firms to local Chubb sales teams at the regional level * Serve as a resource for Chubb's sales team to drive firm engagement in all regions and at all levels * Manage ongoing relationships with the firms to make sure we are adding value and maximizing the relationship Additional Responsibilities: * Build a reporting mechanism to evaluate the firms relationships * Train and educate the Chubb sales team regarding firm-specific details * Provide ongoing feedback on firm relationships * Maintain a calendar of events for all firms * Coordinate conference planning and related activity * Conduct periodic face to face meetings with key partners (20-25% travel, or as needed) Competencies: * Deep understanding of the financial planning marketplace, products, tools, technology and competitive landscape * Experience in strategy and sales * Excellent communication & presentation skills to all levels of management * Strong integrity, disciplined work ethic, self-motivation * Self-starter, strong collaborator, independent thinker * Ability to learn quickly * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Education and Experience: * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job experience * 8 years of experience as an account manager, in sales, or distribution strategy Chubb strives to offer a diverse and inclusive and rewarding work environment.
